Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so much to be thankful this year....between our beautiful new baby boy and our amazing new house.  We have the best friends and family ever.....Love you all!  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and didn't eat too much!

Addalyn's First Dance Class!

Such a BIG day for Addalyn (OK, MOM).  Addalyn had her very first dance class and did great.  As she was walking off she said, "BYE, MOMMY!"  So adorable!  She got ready with her friend Macy and had class with her other friend Kylee.  She is growing up so fast and it is so darn fun.  Love you Addalyn!  Thanks for making my day!

Angelo's Sip and See Shower

         We were so lucky to have our friends throw us an amazing shower on Saturday, June 18th, 2011.  A HUGE "Thank You" to my friends Jodi, Cari, and Leah for making the day such a huge success.  It was so nice to have my best friend and Angelo's Godmother, Jodi, come into town from New York...we only wish she could have stayed longer!  Even though the day was VERY hot, it was so cool to see so many of our friends and family (and ALL of their kids) and to show off our new little guy.
There was about 25 kids under the age of 4....crazy!
 Another big surprise was seeing Anthony's best friend, Tyler, and his wife, Megan in from Iowa.  They had a little girl one day after Angelo was born so it was fun to have Baby Norah and Angelo meet for the first time.  We are going to have to keep those two separated one day if they are at all like their parents! It was crazy seeing old friends from high school and college with their kids now....the little ones have definitely multiplied since we had Addalyn!

         Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the shower, we had an amazing time and appreciate you all so much!

He's Here!!! Anthony Angelo Antonucci IV

He's here, he's here!  We are so excited to welcome our new little boy, Anthony Angelo Antonucci IV!  After a long day of moving, I started to feel contractions and pain.  Late in the day (May 21st, Addalyn's birthday) we decided to head to the doctor to check it out.  After monitoring my contractions and running tests, they found out that I was once again passing kidney stones.  Atleast they held off until 38 weeks this time!  The next day we decided to have surgery on May 23rd to deliver our little man.  He was born at 7:55 AM coming in at 7lbs 1oz, 19 inches long. 

He is a great sleeper and little boy so far.  Addalyn loves helping out with her little brother.  She loves to give him kisses, feed him, and put his pacifier in his mouth.  She calls him "Baby" and wakes up and immediately asks where he is.  Not going to lie, we are a little surprised by how good Addalyn has been with him....it will probably be a different story once he starts getting into her things.  We still can't decide who he looks like.  He doesn't really look like Addalyn did when she was born and seems to be a mix between Anthony and I.  Daddy took week off after we returned from the hospital and has been responsible for all feedings while on vaca.  We have had literally a MILLION conversations around what we are going to call the little dude....calling him Anthony has been a little more difficult than we thought it would be.  We are debating between Anthony and Angelo and will be making a decision this weekend.  WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY LITTLE MAN....WE ADORE YOU ALREADY!

Addalyn Turns 2!

I can't believe my little baby is already 2!  It is crazy to see how much she has changed even in the past couple of weeks.  She is developing a mind of her own.  We didn't get to celebrate her birthday on the actual day because it was moving day and Mommy had to go to the hospital due to kidney stones. :(  I am so glad we got to celebrate the next weekend!  At 2, Addalyn is LOVING Minnie Mouse.  I think she received half of all the Minnie stuff at the Disney Store thanks to Grammy, Mommy, and Daddy.  She just had her 2 year check up and was not a fan but I am glad to report that she is in the 75% percentile in height, weight, and head size.  She is also starting to put together sentences (including Stop It!).  It is never a dull moment in our house and I am so proud of the little girl she is growing up to be.  WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!

     HELLO!  Welcome to the Antonucci Family Blog!  Pretty sure WE/I said we would never do a blog....but here we are!  Even if nobody reads it, I thought it would be a cool way to document all of the exciting things going on with our family.  Between both Anthony and I working (Anthony as an Account Manager for Aerotek and myself working as a Corporate Recruiter for Target plus owning my photography company) I'm not sure how often Addalyn who is almost 2, and our new addition, Anthony, will allow us to spend blogging!

     We have A LOT of big changes coming our way with expecting Anthony Angelo Antonucci IV at the beginning of June and getting ready to move into the house we just built within the next week!  We are just hoping that the move doesn't put me into labor!  Thanks for stopping by...I'll try and make my posts as interesting as possible.  We are so lucky to have such amazing family and friends!  Love you guys!

• Anthony and Kristyn met in 2002 while working together at the Lawrence Country Club and began dating in the summer of 2003
• We both graduated from the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!)
• We got engaged in the summer of 2006 and married on August 4, 2007
• Addalyn was born on May 21, 2009
